WHO WE ARE

Joana Costa

Hello! My name is Joana Costa and I'm 18 years old. I'm from a small village called Mondim de Basto, but since it is such a small place I decided that for me and for my future it would be better to study in a big city like Porto, where the opportunities are bigger and better. I'm taking the course of Languages and Foreign Cultures in the Superior School of Education with purpose of in the future work as a flight attendant or in the area of international relations.

Right now, I'm learning English, French, Spanish and German - not only the languages but also the cultures.

WHO WE ARE

Maria Teixeira

My name is Maria João, I'm 18 and I live in Matosinhos. I study "Languages and Foreign Cultures" in the Superior School of Education in Porto. I chose this course because in the future I would like to become a translater. My passion has always been languages so I've always wanted to work with something related to that. I'm very communicative and so I love to talk to everyone and I think that by knowing some different languages I'm able to speak with a lot of different people. Some of my interests include movies, music, dance and parties with my family and friend.

WHO WE ARE

Rafaela Torres

Hi! My name is Rafaela, and I'm 18 years old. I live in Rebordosa, which is 30km away from OPorto. At the weekends, I work at Continente in part-time. In my high school time, I took the course of "Languages and Humanities" which I ended up with a final media of 17 on a scale of 20. I love languages and History. I think that the languages are the "key" to the 21st Century.

Day after day, we see ourselves in situations where we need to know how to speak a certain language. That was the reason why I choose this course. I think it can be very helpful in my future and in my life! I love to learn new things about other countries and cultures.
My dream is to be a flight attendant, another reason why I am taking this course. Being a flight attendant isn't easy, but with hard work I think I will be able to be a good one!
